Kaha jaata hai 15000 saal pehle bhagwn shiv ne 112 dhyan ki alag alag vidhiyon ki khoj ki, vipassana bhi unhi dhyan vidhiyon mein se ek hai, jise gautam buddha dwara punh jeevit kiya gaya tha, jo hamare desh se puri tarah se lupt ho chuki thi. Vipassana hamare aatm nirikshan ki ek puratan prakriya hai. Iski vyakhya s.N. Goenka ji dwara kuch is prakar ki gayi hai, wo kahte hai ki jo jaisa hai, use thi usi prakar dekhna, samjhna aur janna vipassana hai. Wo aage kehte hai, lagbag 2500 varsh purva bhagwan buddha ne samajik jan kalyan ke liye is vidhi ko jan jan mein bhet ki, taaki har manushya apna aatma nirikshan kar swayam ke vastavik astitva ko jaan sake.

Pehle charan mein hume apne aati jaati hue saanso par apne dhyan ko kendrit karna hota hai. Ismein hume kuch alag se karne ki avashyakta nhi hai, kewal hamari aati jaati hue saanso ko drastha bhav se dekhna hai. Kuch ise pranayam samjhane ki bhul kar baithate hai, lekin hum aapko bata dena chahte hai ki pranayam aur yah bilkul alag hai. Pranayam mein aap gehri saanse lete ho aur saanso ko khud andar baahar karte ho. Lekin vipassana mein hume kuch nhi karna hota hai, sirf drastha bhav se dekhna hota hai, hume apni saans ke sath koi chedchad nhi karni hai, naa hi humne saanso ko gehra karna ki avashyakta hai. Jaise saans hamari abhi chal rahi hai, bus use janna hai.

Dusra charan pragya ko viksit karne ka charan hai, jismein hume apni sharir mein hone wali sanvednao ko janana hai. Pehle charan ko jab hum paar kar lete hai to hamara man thoda thaharne lagta hai, jisse dusre charan mein hume aasani ho jaati hai. Dusre charan mein hume apne sir se lagakar pair tak hone wali sabhi choti se choti sanvdenao ko dekhna hai. Ismein sadhak kisi ek sire se sanvedhano ko dekhna shuru karta hai aur karmbaddha roop se aage badhta hai aur dusre shire par jaakar ruk jaata hai. Phir se usi shire se shuru karta hai aur dusre shire par aakar ruk jaata hai. Yah kriya sadhak baar baar dohrata hai. Isse sadhak ke bheetar shakshi bhav ka vikas hota hai, jisse jo jaisa hai, wo use waisa hi dekhta hai.

Sn goenka ji kahna hai is sadhna ki apne aas paas ke vipassna centre se pehle diksha leni chahiye, uske baad hi ise karna chahiye. Aapko bata de ki vipassna 10 dino mein sikhayi jaani wali takniq hai. Jise desh hi nahi balki duniya ke vibhinna hisso mein sikhaya jaa raha hai. Desh hi nahi balki videsho mein bh vipassana ke sakdo yog centre hai, jo ki sadhak ko free mein 10 divisiya diksha pradan karte hai. Yahan tak ki sadhna ka rehna aur khana bhi muft mein aashram dwara hi pradan kiya jaata hai. Agar aap bhi vipassana ko kisi guru ke sanidhya mein sikhana chahte hai, to aap apne aas paas ke vipassana centre mein jaakar sikh sakte hai, uske baad aap khud bhi apne ghar par rehkar is sadhana ki practice kar sakte hai. Yeh aasan kintu sabse shaktisahali dhyan vidhi hai.
